Bhutan,un angolo di paradiso verde ai piedi dell'Himalaya, protetto e intatto nella sua natura e nelle sue tradizioni.

solo a guardare questa immagine mi sento già meglio.

Sicuramente nella lista dei paesi da vedere e già archiviato nei viaggi con Budget notevole dato che è necessario pagare un permesso turistico piuttosto importante per ogni giorno trascorso nel paese.


Qui si è svolto il vero Royal Wedding dell'anno tra il più che affascinante e un pò gigione sovrano Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck e Jetsun Pema, indefinitamente incantevole a mio parere.

che meraviglia un matrimonio pieno di colori, in Bhutan infatti nessuno veste all'occidentale ma tutti indossano quotidianamente i costumi tradizionali, STUPENDI.

posso avere anch'io un matrimonio Bhutanese?

Illesteva was founded in 2009 by Daniel Silberman and Jus Ske, is handmade in France, Italy and Germany, in concert with the world’s leading manufacturers of luxury eyewear. The duo push normal boundaries of design by exploring fresh shapes and materials like acetate, bamboo, wood, titanium and natural buffalo horn, with each new frame design. Drawing from their downtown lives, as well as their backgrounds in design, music, fashion, and photography, Silberman and Ske have created a brand of classic timeless pieces, meant to last a lifetime.a

Daniel Silberman was interested in design, photography and old movies from an early age.  After a life changing backpacking trip through Asia, South America and Australia, he started a T Shirt company that garnered a cult following, and immediately landed it in 22 countries. Finding it difficult to track down a pair of sunglasses that he liked as much as his first vintage pair, he and his friend Jus Ske decided to start Illesteva. With little background knowledge of eyewear and youthful eagerness, which both aided and created obstacles, they found a small factory in Italy who was willing to work with them, and born was Illesteva. While he didn’t go to design school, Silberman says “Its an advantage, nobody taught me what can’t be done.”


JUS-SKE was born and raised in New York City. Growing up in the 90′s his interests included painting, designing and music. He became known downtown NY as part of the S.K.E crew and got into photography through his best friend Davide Sorrenti. Ske was assisting Sorrenti on many photo shoots and started throwing some of the best parties in NY in the late 90′s. Bored with promoting, JUS-SKE first started Djing in 1997 and found one of his life’s passions. Since then, he has Dj’ed for everyone from Pharrell to Madonna to Jay-Z. Another of Jus Ske’s loves is fashion. It was always a dream of his to create his own brand one day. He and Daniel Silberman both agreed that there was something missing in the eyewear market and thus started Illesteva.
